Slightly further down the Firth of Clyde, Caledonian MacBrayne's Jupiter and Saturn serve the Island of Bute at Rothesay, from the mainland terminus of Wemyss Bay. Jupiter and Juno are sister ships built in 1973 and 1974 respectively, while the Saturn is a slighly improved design built in 1978.
The Jupiter, Juno and Saturn are rotated around the Dunoon and Rothesay services in a 3 week roster.
